Spice was used over 50,000 B.C. Like herbs spices can be made from seeds,flowers,leaves,bark,roots,saps. Ground leaves, seeds and bark last 6 months while roots last one year if stored properly. Dogs and cats would have randomly picked plants to eat depending on the body's need. always check in with your vet when adding something new.

Cayene; Is rich in calcium,phosphorus,iron,zinc and vit A. A little goes a long way. Cardamon; Is one of the oldest spice. It contains cineole,an expectorant that helps support the lungs and makes breathing easier during allergy season. Good for doggie breath and irritable bowel. Cloves; Are used to treat ring worm and other fungal infections.

Ginger; Is a valuable digestive aid.It also has anti inflammatory help relieve arthritis.

You can make doggie treats and add fresh ingredients such as clove the bottle herb may not have the nutritional qualities active.
