"My dog wont stop puling on the leash, barking peeing, chewing etc." "no matter what i do." If you feel this way please read. A dog is a dog. Many parents try to treat a dog as they would a human. One of the things you need to do to train your dog effectively is realize he has different needs than you do. 10 facts and tips that will give you a greater insight into the canine psyche and make training easier.

1. A dog is a dog they may have been domesticated for thousands of years, but they still live by the same rules and exhibit many of the same behavioral patterns as their wild ancestors. 2. Dogs have a pack mentality. Dogs live in a pack with leaders which enhances their survival rate. You need to model these characteristics to be accepted as the pack leader and obey you. 3.DOGS DON'T UNDERSTAND ENGLISH.To believe a dog knows what come, sit is a human based language is as foolish as thinking we know what every bark means. 4. DOGS ARE NOT SPITEFUL. People often say things like,"My dog chewed my shoe to get even" There are many reasons for a dogs behavior but getting even is not one of them that is a human behavior. 5. MY DOG DOES NOT LIKE KIDS

6.Dogs communicate with their body language. For example: Most humans greet a dog in all the wrong ways such as when a dog jumps on you and you push him off in dog language using paws (arms & hands) means lets play. 7. You can teach your dog to learn not think like you. The 3 things that primarily influence his behavior are association, instinct, and experience. Dogs recall information with associative stimuli. 8. Most behaviors we humans do not want our dogs doing are natural for the dogs digging, chewing, jumping, barking so training your dog how to live with human wanted behaviors requires training the minute you get your dog and the earlier in age the better. 9. Do not get angry a your dog and correct. Training is a must as well as teaching a dog a human word paired with behavior and rewards at the moment you are teaching and many repeated sessions.

10. Dogs smell rule . Dogs have about 25 times more olfactory (smell )receptors than humans when we smell garbage they smell food.
