Julia re-located to Granville, Ohio from Los Angeles, California with a B.S. degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine and Behavioral Science from Otterbein College. Her experience as a certified professional canine trainer spans over 20 years with more than 30,000 dogs of all breeds and has been recognized for outstanding behavioral techniques in publications such as: “Dog Fancy”, “Sister” and “Gazette” magazines. Her work in Los Angeles included commercial/film/television/stunt dog training and work with celebrity dogs owned by Tiger & Earl Woods, Johnny Depp and Drew Barrymore.

Julia currently specializes in the behavioral rehabilitation of dogs with aggression, anxiety and other psychological issues and she donates her professional expertise. Her methods are rooted in a positive-reinforcement based approach as she combines theoretical understanding and technique to create well-behaved dogs over the long term, happy owners, and families. In 2009 Julia pioneered “Swinging on The Leash” Pet Fair that is a yearly event for pet lovers .Julia also serves as a volunteer of Angel Paws Animal Assisted Activities & Therapy’s to help Angel Paws/Delta Society Pet Partner. Julia has begun her own rescue group New Bark On Life where the rescue dogs are rehabilitated and trained, to prepare them in their new homes. Foster parents and volunteers are welcomed.
